Ethertronics Appoints New Chief Financial Officer to Manage Company's Exponential Growth

Andy Wrobel Brings 20 Years' Executive, Finance and Technology Experience to Ethertronics' Management Team


SAN DIEGO, April 24, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Ethertronics, a leading provider of customized embedded antenna solutions for wideband and multi-band wireless devices, today announced that Andy Wrobel has joined the company as chief financial officer (CFO) responsible for the company's global financial, administrative and IT functions, including accounting and audit, financial planning and analysis, investor relations and treasury.

Wrobel has 20 years of executive experience, primarily in rapidly growing companies. Prior to joining Ethertronics, he held the CFO position at NTN Communications (AMEX:NTN), where he helped garner $45 million in profitable sales. Previously, he was the CEO/CFO at Inetcam Inc., as well as the CEO of Microelectronic Packaging. Wrobel founded Gigatek Memory Systems, Inc. in 1989, and as CEO/CFO he grew the company to $93 million in sales and later sold it to a Samsung affiliate in the mid-1990s. Prior to founding Gigatek he held executive management positions at Texas Instruments, Carlisle CMG and BASF. Wrobel's educational background includes a Ph.D., MBA programs and an MS degree from MIT, and a bachelor's degree from the Polytechnic Institute of Warsaw.
