3BL Media Partners With UK's Business in the Community to Drive Awareness of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Achievements

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - July 27, 2016) - 3BL Media, a corporate communications platform for corporate responsibility and sustainability content, and Business in the Community, the Prince's Responsible Business Network, have formed a partnership to increase awareness of social impact initiatives in the UK and globally.

The agreement, which was forged after 3BL Media acquired UK-based Ethical Performance and ReportAlert®, provides the Business in the Community web site a real-time feed of digital content from companies and organisations committed to sustainability and corporate citizenship.

Business in the Community will also begin publishing its own news, articles, research, video and other content through the 3BL Media network.

"Our mission is to mobilise business to take action that creates a fairer society and a more sustainable future," said Gail Greengross, communications director, Business in the Community. "Increasing visibility of the responsible business movement is a crucial way to inspire more action, so we are pleased to partner with 3BL Media to increase the audience exposed to our members initiatives and to celebrate the work being done by socially conscious organisations across the globe."

In May 2015, 3BL Media acquired Canterbury-based Dunstans Publishing Ltd., publisher of the Ethical Performance Journal and Best Practice case studies. Four months later, the CSR and sustainability report announcement service ReportAlert, based in London, became part of 3BL Media.

In the wake of the expansion into the UK, nearly 1,000 companies, nonprofits and NGOs are using 3BL Media's services to increase awareness of their corporate citizenship and sustainability initiatives.

Business in the Community has a core membership of more than 800 organisations, from small enterprises to global corporations. Effective today, the 3BL Media news feed is displayed on the bitc.co.uk site as a resource that site visitors can monitor for company-issued digital content on a wide range of corporate responsibility topics.

"Many of Business in the Community's members are interested in seeing what peer companies elsewhere in the world are doing to tackle social and environmental challenges," said Greg Schneider, co-founder and chief executive of 3BL Media. "By presenting this content in an online community where professional development is constantly taking place, we allow great work to be recognised in the UK and to inspire more innovation."

The partnership also provides Business in the Community a new channel to share its own digital content with a global audience that is passionate about CSR and sustainability.
