TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Jun 21, 2016) - BCG Platinion, a subsidiary of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) that provides technology architecture, implementation, digital, and risk services, has broadened its presence in North America by expanding in Canada and hiring a dedicated executive to run the Canada operation, Philip Panaro, the CEO of BCG Platinion in North America, announced today.

To lead the Canada business, the company has hired Fabrice Lebegue, a veteran professional services executive, as a managing director. Based locally in Canada, he will serve on the executive team of BCG Platinion North America and will lead its Digital Transformation practice.

Lebegue comes to BCG Platinion with 20 years of experience in the technology field. Most recently, he was a corporate vice president for technology at Cogeco. Before that, he worked more than eight years at BCG as a consultant, rising to become a Director in the firm's global Technology practice and Chief Technology Officer at BCG Platinion North America. In both roles, he led many strategy and technology implementation projects serving large corporations worldwide, especially in the financial services, high-tech, and telecom industries.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a strategy and technology consultant at various firms. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering (in mathematics, software, and systems) from the French engineering school ENSEEIHT in Toulouse and a master's degree in digital communications from the École Polytechnique at the University of Montreal.
