SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - July 13, 2016) - Clover Health, a health insurance company using data and technology to fill gaps in care and drive clinical operations workflow, today announced the appointment of Les Granow to Chief Financial Officer and Brady Priest to General Counsel. Both will report directly to Clover Health CEO and co-founder Vivek Garipalli.
Granow is an accomplished senior financial executive with broad finance management experience. He has served as CFO of several growth-oriented healthcare organizations, including Arcadian Health Plans, a Medicare Advantage plan that was acquired by Humana in 2013. Granow also led the healthcare investment banking teams at Giuliani Capital Advisors and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance for six years, after serving as a partner at Ernst & Young, where he oversaw Health Care Tax Services for the Pacific Southwest region.
Priest joins Clover from UnitedHealth Group Ventures, where he was a managing director responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities aimed at improving the overall quality, affordability and efficiency of the healthcare system. Priest's prior roles at UnitedHealth Group were in the Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Group, which included serving as lead transactions counsel for UnitedHealthcare. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, he served as a corporate associate with the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and representing venture capital-backed companies.

Granow earned a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business in Taxation from the University of Southern California. Priest holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor's degree from Middlebury College, where he graduated with honors.
