GEICO Teams Up With Insurity to Launch GEICO's New Commercial Auto Product

HARTFORD, CT--(Marketwire - June 19, 2008) - To support the launch of its new commercial auto insurance business, GEICO implemented Insurity's Insurance Decisions product, an end-to-end processing suite. GEICO's initial states are in production, and the auto insurer plans to roll out the system across the rest of the U.S. throughout 2008 and into early 2009.

Insurity, a ChoicePoint® company, provides software and services to the property-casualty industry.

"We wanted a full solution," said Kushwant Singh, GEICO director of commercial lines. "Insurity offered an end-to-end solution, and we got it up and running in record time. We're delighted to be out in the marketplace so quickly."

"We are using Insurance Decisions for policy administration, claims management, billing, data warehouse, reporting and business intelligence," said Jess Reed, GEICO's chief information officer. "We're also taking advantage of its capabilities for regulatory compliance and bureau reporting, as well as printing and distribution services. It's been a big plus for us to work with such a talented group."

"It's been a great partnership and we were able to convert a business concept into reality in six months," said Bob Larew, Insurity senior vice president. "Together we delivered on time, on budget and with quality results. Insurity is proud to be associated with a recognized name like GEICO, and we're pleased to have a vote of confidence from this sophisticated industry leader."

GEICO sales representatives and executives access the Insurance Decisions system, hosted at the Insurity data center in Alpharetta, Ga., via the Web.
