Genius Solutions Raises $13,047.65 to Benefit Make-A-Wish Quebec at 48-Hour Bike Ride Challenge

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 5, 2016) - Genius Solutions is honoured to have participated in the 10^th annual Make-A-Wish Foundation 48-Hour Bike Ride Challenge fundraising event September 16 - 18, 2016, at the Gilles-Villeneuve race track at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, raising a total of $13,047.65 for the cause. As a prominent member of the local business community, the Quebec-based company believes it is important to support local charities and is proud to have taken part in a fundraising event that coincides with the family-oriented values of the company.

Three teams, made up of six employees each, participated in the 48-hour challenge, which required at least one team member per team to be riding on the track at all times. "Despite the rain this year, Make- A-Wish Quebec always organizes a great event," said Jean Magny, president of Genius Solutions. "It was satisfying to see a lot of new faces and new teams take part as the fundraiser continues to grow in popularity, and with reason, as it's a perfect team building opportunity for a great cause."

The Make-A-Wish Foundation arranges experiences (described as "wishes") for children with life- threatening medical conditions.
