Healthwise Measures Up -- Two Billion Better Health Decisions

As of May 18, people have counted on Healthwise information two billion times

BOISE, ID--(Marketwired - May 23, 2017) - At Healthwise headquarters in Boise, Idaho, there's a digital reader board that counts mission points. Every few seconds, it ticks upward, indicating that someone, somewhere, has used Healthwise information to help them make a better health decision. On May 18, the counter ticked to over two billion mission points.

"This is a thrilling milestone for us at Healthwise," said CEO Bob Kyte. "We see this counter in our lobby every day, and knowing people have used our information this many times is a real testament to the work we do. Each mission point symbolizes an opportunity to make a difference in someone's health and life."

"Mission points are an excellent indicator of how often people are looking for information about their health," Kyte said. "These inquiries are growing at an ever-increasing rate, due in large part to digital ways to get health information today that makes it easier and more familiar. Now patients have digital access to patient education after a doctor visit or health episode -- when they need it. And, they can see this information on any of their devices."
