IFTTT Adds Recipes to Partners' Apps

IFTTT Begins to Roll out Partner Platform and Highlights Partners With Recipes Available in Their Mobile Applications

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - August 10, 2016) - IFTTT, the platform that gives everyone the confidence to control their services, is introducing new features that allow partners to add IFTTT Recipes to their apps. With a quick swipe, users can enable Recipes such as "Turn on your LIFX bulbs when you unlock your door" directly within the app they're already in.

IFTTT's Partner Platform has been in private beta a year and is now rolling out to a larger group. Beta partners have seen numerous benefits from integrating with IFTTT: increased engagement, customer retention, and insight into user behaviors that inform product and marketing efforts.

"We always want to work with trusted brands, because when your mission is about security and safety trust is so critical. IFTTT fits that bill." -- Jamie Siminoff, Chief Inventor & CEO, Ring

Select partners have worked closely with IFTTT to be the first to bring Recipes into their products natively including Ring, a video doorbell; Foobot, an indoor-air pollution monitor; Automatic, a car adapter that allows you to monitor and track your vehicle; Qapital, an innovative banking app; Garageio, a system for controlling and monitoring garage doors from your smartphone; and Roger, a voice messenger for friends and family.

"Having the option to create savings rules with IFTTT directly in the app means our users can immediately unlock more value from their relationship with us." -- Charlotte Grahn, CMO of Qapital

"We think bringing IFTTT into our app is going to be key for user adoption, and we're excited to see how these new users react to suddenly getting so much more out of Garageio." -- Zachary Dziczkowski, CoFounder & CEO of Garageio

When partners can place Recipes directly into their applications, it creates a more seamless experience. It aligns perfectly with IFTTT's mission to bring confidence and compatibility to an increasingly connected world.

"Our partner platform and the power to embed IFTTT experiences is just the beginning of the value we can unlock for both developers and users. The rich experiences that partners can build with IFTTT are only going to get more exciting from here." -- Linden Tibbets, CEO of IFTTT

Full partner set included in launch are Ring, Qapital, Foobot, Garageio, Automatic, Awair, Skybell, LIFX, Bloomsky, Roger, Abode, and Stack Lighting.
