(TSX:ICS) ("Intrinsyc" or the "Company"), a leading developer of intelligent connected devices, will be showcasing the OPEN-6 Design and Production Platform (DPP) at Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona, Spain, from 27 February to March 1, 2012. The OPEN-6 DPP will be on display at Intrinsyc's meeting room, Exhibit Hall 4, Level 7 HS01.

Intrinsyc's OPEN-6 DPP product line combines components and support from leading technology providers to deliver a design and production package that sets the standard for OEMs focused on key vertical markets including tablets, eReaders, automotive infotainment, and industrial handhelds.

The OPEN-6 DPP leverages the latest high performance multi-core design from Freescale, the i.MX 6 series, based upon the ARM® Cortex™-A9 architecture, as well as 3G cellular options from u-Blox, and audio codec and power management IC's from Wolfson Microelectronics. The OPEN-6 Development Kit, which will ship in late Q2, 2012 will include the following components and features:
