Lumenpulse Elects Bill Sims, Former CEO of Color Kinetics to Board of Directors

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 19, 2011) - Lumenpulse Inc., a leading innovator and manufacturer of high performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, today announced that Bill Sims has joined its board. The company also introduced its executive team featuring an "all-star" lineup of business, technology and design talent from the global LED and lighting market. This team -- together with Lumenpulse's specification-grade, sustainable products -- are focused on the LED fixtures market that totaled $3.8B in 2010 and is estimated to grow to $9B by 2014 (Source: Strategies Unlimited).

Sims, the President and CEO of Joule Unlimited, Inc., is well known in the LED industry as the former CEO of Color Kinetics, a pioneer in intelligent LED illumination. In his seven-year tenure at Color Kinetics, Sims guided the company to profitability, achieved 30 percent annual growth on average, and oversaw its successful IPO, secondary offering and eventual sale to Philips for $800 million in 2007. Prior to that, his proven leadership in the business-to-business and consumer technology spaces helped successfully bring other innovative products to market.

Johnson is responsible for managing Lumenpulse's global financial health and growth.

• Chief Technology Officer and Director of Engineering, Greg Campbell has 7 years of experience in bringing innovative LED lighting products to market including leading product development teams at Color Kinetics. Campbell holds numerous LED-related patents and is responsible for establishing Lumenpulse as an innovation and performance leader.

• Executive Vice President, Product Development, Yvan Hamel has over 25 years of experience in lighting design and product development including having served as head of design and engineering operations for Lumec, a leading manufacturer of high performance outdoor lighting fixtures. • Executive Vice President of Sales, The Americas, Brandon Siemion has over 20 years of experience in sales with a deep expertise in the LED lighting marketplace.
