Mackie Research Capital and Jordan Capital Join Forces

TORONTO, ONTARIO and VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 11, 2015) - Mackie Research Financial Corporation ("Research Financial"), the parent company of Mackie Research Capital Corporation ("Research Capital") announces it has entered into an Agreement to acquire Jordan Ventures Ltd., the parent of Vancouver-based investment dealer, Jordan Capital Markets Inc. ("Jordan Capital"), a high growth Private Client investment and Venture Investment Banking firm with over 55 employees. Founded in 2008 and registered nationally, Jordan Capital has also established a Colombian-based investment banking platform focused primarily in the materials and energy sectors, which will expand Research Capital's existing presence in the international resource industries space. Jordan Capital founding partners will lead the combined management team in British Columbia. The Agreement is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
