OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 12, 2013) - On November 11th, Giant Tiger Hamilton ran an ad in The Hamilton Spectator's Remembrance Day edition.
The Hamilton Spectator placed incorrect artwork in the Giant Tiger ad. The ad recognizes Canadian veterans but contains an image of American military personnel.
Giant Tiger placed this advertisement to honour Canadian veterans and is deeply distressed by this error.
The Hamilton Spectator regrets that this error was made and apologizes to our Canadian soldiers for this mistake.
