SINGAPORE--(Marketwired - Jan 25, 2015) - The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School's Master of Business Administration (The NUS MBA) programme is ranked 31st in the Financial Times' (FT) Global MBA Ranking 2015, up one place, continuing its overall position as the highest-ranked MBA programme offered by a Singaporean university.
NUS Business School fared well in the various areas assessed. The FT found that alumni of The NUS MBA programme commanded a 127 per cent increase in their average annual salaries post-MBA, the highest jump among MBA alumni of business schools in Singapore. Some 98 per cent of The NUS MBA's alumni also reported that they clinched employment within three months of graduation, indicating that the global and local demand for The NUS MBA's graduates remains strong.
The FT's Global MBA Ranking 2015 is based on data compiled from two main sources: surveys conducted with alumni who graduated three years ago, as well as with business schools. The latest ranking comes after the FT's October 2014 release of its global Executive MBA rankings, which placed the UCLA - NUS Executive MBA at fourth in the world, and the School's Asia-Pacific Executive MBA at 18th.
"The NUS MBA's consistent performance in the FT's global ranking is welcome news as we celebrate the School's 50th anniversary this year. Going forward, and in line with our vision to be the leading business school in Asia, we will strive to scale greater heights," said Associate Professor Susanna Leong, Vice Dean (Graduate Studies), NUS Business School.
