PayByPhone's Parking Service Arrives in Burnaby

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - May 16, 2017) - The PayByPhone service is now available in Burnaby, becoming the City's first-ever mobile payment solution for on-street parking. Starting today, drivers can use the payment app to start and extend their parking session at over 1,800 Burnaby parking locations. For motorists, this expansion will help create a seamless parking experience throughout the Lower Mainland area, where thousands of PayByPhone transactions already take place each day.

Besides eliminating the need to carry change, the PayByPhone app contains a countdown timer, and triggers smart reminders before a parking session expires. Most notably, the app allows users to extend their parking session from anywhere, an invaluable feature for anyone who wants to avoid running back to the meter.
