Positive Start to 2014 for Volkswagen Canada

AJAX, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 3, 2014) - Volkswagen Canada started off 2014 with its 25^th consecutive month of record sales. January's total of 3,683 represented a 9% increase over the previous record of 3,373, set just last year.

"Customers will not accept compromises when they select a vehicle, and our cars do a great job of combining comfort, driving enjoyment and solid value."

Leading the way were sales of the Jetta. During the month, 1,891 were sold.

Volkswagen showcased the all-new, 7^th generation GTI at the Montreal Autoshow, and will take the wraps off of the new Golf this month at the Toronto show. Both vehicles will arrive at dealerships this spring.
