RTI Presents "How the Fusion of Time-Sensitive Networking, Time-Triggered Ethernet and Data Centricity Can Change Industrial Control" Complimentary Webinar

GE Global Research Joins RTI to Discuss Benefits of DDS and the Deterministic Ethernet

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 21, 2016) - Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity platform company, today announced it is hosting a complimentary webinar, "How the Fusion of Time-Sensitive Networking, Time-Triggered Ethernet and Data Centricity Can Change Industrial Control," in partnership with GE Global Research, a research and development division of GE, working to deliver technical breakthroughs, spanning industries, for GE customers.

Performance and scalability are critical for transportation and industrial control systems. Common requirements in both types of systems include the ability to predictably process system events in real time and the ability to fail gracefully. These common requirements give rise to an innovative idea of interoperability of the Data Distribution Service (DDS) protocol with deterministic Ethernet technologies: Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTE).

Join experts from GE and RTI as they explore the challenges of deterministic Ethernet today and explain how the power fusion of DDS with deterministic Ethernet can effectively address them.
