RYE BROOK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 18, 2014) - CBLPath, a Sonic Healthcare USA laboratory, is pleased to welcome our newest Breast Pathologist, Sihem Khelifa M.D.
Board certified by the American Board of Pathology in 2009, Dr. Khelifa has completed numerous fellowships and residencies including a Breast Pathology Fellowship with Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, a Pathology Residency with St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and a Surgical Pathology Fellowship with Creteil Hospital in Paris, France.
Prior to joining CBLPath, Dr. Khelifa served as Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, at the Yale School of Medicine and has won many awards including the Cancer Prevention Travel Scholarship Program Award from the H. Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern University and was elected Fellow of the College of American Pathologists. Recently, she has also been researching the effect of BRCA1 deficiency on human breast tissue and ER+/High Ki67 new intrinsic subtype of luminal B breast cancers.
Dr. Khelifa joins CBLPath's expert team of board-certified, fellowship-trained breast pathologists and cytopathologists from renowned institutions, all of whom specialize in breast cases.
