StarVideo allows up to 12 users to participate in a real-time videoconference, with up to 150 additional users connected to an audio-only conference. StarVideo provides a cost-effective, high-quality alternative to dedicated videoconference solutions, yet StarVideo requires only an inexpensive webcam attached to a Mac or PC to operate. StarVideo includes whiteboarding and text chat features that allow participants to view and comment on a document, and to conduct sidebar discussions via text chat.
The new version of StarVideo includes enhancements for advanced scheduling of meetings and a new external invite feature makes StarVideo available to anyone with a supported web browser. Once invited, non-Star2Star users will receive an email containing a link to the videoconference. Clicking on the link opens a new browser window where they can participate. This feature makes StarVideo easier to use, more functional, and more valuable than ever before.
