MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 15, 2016) - Stingray Digital Group Inc. (TSX:RAY.A)(TSX:RAY.B), a leading business-to-business multi-platform music and in-store media solutions provider, today announced that it has formally closed the previously announced strategic acquisition of Bell Media's Much Vibe, Much Loud and Juicebox specialty channels. The acquisition of a fourth channel, Much Retro, is expected to follow shortly.
As previously announced on June 21, 2016, Stingray will own and operate the three (3) specialty music channels.
Effective August 12, 2016, the channels will be rebranded with the Stingray brand:
- Much Vibe becomes Stingray Vibe
- Much Loud becomes Stingray Loud
- Juicebox becomes Stingray Juicebox
