Tyco SimplexGrinnell Brings Active Shooter Preparedness Panel to NACo Conference

Session at the National Association of Counties Annual Conference to Focus on Industry Best Practices, Provide Actionable Takeaways


WESTMINSTER, MA--(Marketwired - Jul 19, 2016) -   Later this month, Tyco SimplexGrinnell will moderate a panel on preparing for an active shooter situation, at the 2016 National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference and Exposition. Held in Long Beach, CA, the five-day conference brings together county officials and experts from across the country to exchange best practices and help shape NACo's public policy agenda for the upcoming year.

Alongside a panel of experts from the University of Massachusetts, Pennsylvania's Chester County and Oklahoma's Cleveland County, Tyco SimplexGrinnell will share insights on the implementation of best practices used in an active shooter situation. Drawing from first-hand experience, panelists will discuss key learnings, instrumental technologies, and how to manage collaboration between federal and state officials to best diffuse an active shooter situation and protect citizens.
