USFCR Client Holland LP Lands Expeditionary Contracting Command Contract

CRETE, IL--(Marketwired - November 01, 2016) - US Federal Contractor Registration client Holland LP received in September a $6,714 contract from Expeditionary Contracting Command to provide 24 single loop chain anchors and 24 anchor channels.

In business since 1935, Holland LP works with clients around North America, including in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and makes available to its clients a full suite of railroad support products and custom-designed modules and trailers.

"We provide comprehensive and progressive transportation solutions," said Business Development Manager Lawrence Brewer. "As an engineering-based company, we pride ourselves on designing and manufacturing solutions for the railroad industry and specialty vehicles market."

Holland's Specialty Vehicle division designs, manufactures, and delivers turnkey command and communication trailers, container-based modules, video production units, display trailers, and special purpose vehicles. Holland is focused on supporting clients from concept through delivery and striving to be as much a solutions partner as a supplier.

"By handling everything in-house, we can guarantee our clients receive the highest-quality products and that they conform to all specifications," said Brewer.

Though the contract with Expeditionary Contracting Command is its first, Holland has provided some of its line of railroad products to military buyers and is actively pursuing other government contracts, such as for the delivery of custom-designed and –built trailers that range from 20-feet to 53-feet, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and ISO container-based modules.

Brewer attributed the company's contracting success to its relationship with US Federal Contractor Registration.

"US Federal Contractor Registration has helped us launch our new Holland Specialty Vehicles division by getting us properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and by providing us with training materials [on successfully] bidding on government contracts," said Brewer. "When we need support or guidance, they are available to help us sort through the details and resolve the problem."

US Federal Contractor Registration helps clients complete the SAM Registration, develop winning bid strategies, and succeed as government contractors. In 2015, USFCR clients earned nearly $2 billion in government contracts.

Eric Knellinger, president of US Federal Contractor Registration, the world's largest third-party government registration firm, said that Holland, due to its design and manufacturing processes, is the type of business that many contracting officers look for when reviewing bids.

"Government buyers, especially those looking to work with small businesses, want to work with businesses who know their business, and Holland is just that -- a business that knows not just its business but also how its business can best help its clients succeed," said Knellinger.
