CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - January 05, 2016) - Velocity Technology Solutions, a Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), will be hosting its second Oracle JD Edwards Upgrade Workshop in its Minneapolis, MN office on January 26 and 27, 2016. This is a no-cost workshop offered to JD Edwards users who are considering or planning to upgrade their JD Edwards World or EnterpriseOne software. The workshop will highlight the opportunities an upgrade to JD Edwards version 9.2 offers to diverse businesses.

Velocity Technology Solutions was one of a select group of Oracle PartnerNetwork companies that were invited to participate and sponsor a pilot workshop in August 2015 hosted by JD Edwards. The event focused on managing an upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 from recent or dated versions of JD Edwards World and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. It also addressed key business challenges such as how to prepare for the changing mix of employees as digital natives enter the workforce, and how to manage upgrades with limited IT resources and knowledge, aging infrastructure or high volumes of customizations and integrations.

All topics focus on completing a project in 100 business days or less. This workshop enables all participants analyze their own current JD Edwards situation using online tools and other resources.
