Western Energy Services Corp. ("Western") (TSX VENTURE:WRG) announced today that Lorne A. Gartner was elected as a director of Western at its Annual and Special Meeting held on June 16, 2011, and that following that meeting Donald D. Copeland was appointed as a director of Western.
In addition, the previously announced consolidation of its common shares on a basis of one new common share for each 20 common shares presently issued was approved by special resolution of the shareholders of Western.
